Fonts

PenguinMod adds more fonts to the font picker. They can be used not only in the image editor, but also using the text blocks in the Pen and Animated Text extensions and can be used in other blocks that use fonts. You can add your own fonts as well. Supported files include .ttf, .otf, .woff, and .woff2.

Scratch Fonts

There are currently 6 fonts from Scratch in PenguinMod. The fonts from Scratch are as followed.

• Sans Serif
• Serif
• Handwriting
• Marker
• Curly
• Pixel

Sometime later, the other fonts were added.

• 中文 (Chinese)
• 日本語 (Japanese)
• 한국어 (Korean)

These are also currently the only fonts in Scratch.

PenguinMod Fonts

There are currently 9 original fonts added into PenguinMod that are not currently in Scratch. They are as followed. (Note: the Branches font, formerly known as the Scratch font was in Scratch prior to Scratch 3.0, albeit with the name, "Scratch".)

Adding Fonts

This is what appears when you first want to add a font.

PenguinMod (along with Turbowarp) allows you to add your own fonts from either entering the name of a font on your system or by uploading a font file like .ttf or .otf. To add a font, you scroll down on the font selection screen till you see "Add more fonts..." which you can then click to be brought to the menu on the right. If you click "Add a system font" you will enter the name of a font on your device. If you click "Add font from a file" you have to upload a font file, the accepted file types are as followed.

• .woff
• .woff2

When adding a font, you can choose to add a backup font incase loading the font fails.
