Lock Page Request

Allowing random users to edit the rules is a bad idea, this page should be locked.

The most obvious groups to lock to are the highest-level user groups:

  • Bureaucrats
  • Administrators

These groups likely shouldn't be given edit access:

  • Moderators, moderators are not administrators
  • Moderators (CommentStreams), see above
  • Chat moderators, see above
  • Interface administrators, interface administrators are only supposed to edit the way the wiki looks, not the rules.

All non-mentioned user groups should not have the ability to edit this page.

Rewording and reformatting
