Scratch is a block-based programming language, and is what PenguinMod is based off of, along with TurboWarp. PenguinMod uses a lot of the features Scratch uses, and has also based their website off of Scratch's.

Scratch Lab is a part of the Scratch website, which is used for experimental features. It can be accessed here. The Animated Text extension was taken from Scratch Lab.
