The featured project area.

A featured project is a project displayed in the featured tab on the home page.

Projects get voted to be featured with the Featured button.

Featured projects tend to have more effort put into them and/or are popular.

Voting for a project to be featured

How the checkmark appears on a project page.

The checkmark shown on the "Feature" button.

On the project page you can press the yellow checkmark button to vote to feature the project.

If a project gets 12 or more votes, it gets to the front page.
