The () of main sprite block is a reporter block that can be used by clones to get data from the sprite they are cloned from. The Clone Communication extension had a version of this block previously, except with a circular dropdown instead of a round one and it was named slightly differently, which had the same default option. It looked like this:

The old block had more options, including "rotation style", "visible", "x stretch", "y stretch", "draggable", and all of the graphic effects.
