Snail IDE
Snail IDE is a mod of PenguinMod made by User:Mr3rudyWhy the "User:" prefix? The referenced user either doesn't exist, or hasn't created their inline reference page. which adds a few new extensions and features; despite this, it is incompatible with some newer features that PenguinMod has.

Snail IDE has its fair share of controversies.
Extension credit wording
One reason why many dislike Snail IDE is that it includes many extensions in their extension gallery without the prior consent of it's creator(s).
Prior to January of 2024, Snail IDE used to use the wording Collaboration with <Extension Creator(s)>
in order to credit the creator(s) of extensions. Gen1x (G1nX) disliked this, and stated that to use his extensions, the wording must be changed to Created by <Extension Creator(s)>
as "collaboration" implied that the extensions were put in the gallery with consent from the creator. Since January of 2024, every extension they have in their extension gallery credits the creator with Created by <Extension Creator(s)>
